Global annual production of all textile fibres is around 110 million tonnes, most of which are synthetic polyester fibres. The fashion business is evolving and, e.g., looking for improved sustainability. Kuura textile fibre, still in R&D, is an environmentally-friendly alternative for the global textile fibre market.
