Our forests
Forests are an important natural resource for Finns that have generated prosperity for society for centuries. Family ownership is a typical and unique feature of forest management in Finland. The wood used in the production of Kuura® is sourced from the forests surrounding the Metsä Group bioproduct mill in Äänekoski, Finland. The owner-members behind Metsä Group bring continuity and a long-term perspective to our operations.
